My name is Francesca Salazar-Gillespie. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Mexico. I received my bachelor's degree in Social Work from Western New Mexico University in Silver City, NM in 2000 and my master's degree in Social Work from New Mexico Highlands University in 2003.
I have over 20 years of experience working as a social worker. I have experience working with people who struggle with anxiety, depression, anger management, ADHD, self-esteem, and grief. I specifically want to guide, support, and empower teenage girls and women by providing a safe and compassionate space.
My therapeutic style involves helping others to gain insight, strategies, and tools that can begin to be used immediately. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Solution-Focused Therapy, Grief Counseling, Person-Centered Therapy, and EMDR.
